1. What does the Outdoor Venue include?

Good question! The Outdoor Venue space at BFF includes the following:

• Complete access to the 10-Acre Flower Farm, great lawn and multiple outdoor gathering spaces the day of your event

• Large flagstone patio (makes for a great dance floor, or cocktail area!)

• Tuscan Style Grape Arbor (complete with a harvest table and chairs for 10)

• Fire Pit (close out your evening with your nearest and dearest fireside under the stars)

• Horseshoes (our favorite party game!)

• WIFI so your virtual guests can join!

• Generous flower budget to fill your event with Seasonal field flowers

• 50% discount to our online store, (send your guests home with a little piece of the farm like our Lavender Hydrosol sprays)

2. What are common vendor services that couples hire for their celebration(s) at BFF?

No two events at BFF are the same. We’ve seen couples bring in tents, food trucks, bands, DJs, caterers, hold large ceremonies, and small intimate gatherings. The choice is yours! 

Some of the more common Services we see couples invest in are:

• Event Planner (we strongly recommend this for your peace of mind, events at BFF can have many moving parts)

• Food & Drink

• Music

• Tables/Chairs/Linens/Cutlery

• Lounge Furniture & Lavish Loos

We’ve had many experiences with vendors who provide AMAZING on-farm services and we’re happy to provide recommendations. Just ask and we’ll send a list your way!

4. Who is BFF a good fit for?

At BFF, we pride ourselves on being a blank canvas So you can truly create the celebration you envision. This is why we’ve created an open vendor policy. 

Please know that we do not provide Vendor Services as part of the Venue, and we don’t require you to use any particular vendor. 

Couples who love nature and the outdoors, have a specific vision, value flexibility, want to create a multi-day celebration, or simply want a beautiful and truly unique outdoor venue will likely love BFF.

5. Who is BFF not a great fit for?

Couples who are looking for all inclusive wedding and vendor packages will likely be happier partnering with one of our other venue friends :)

6. What’s the process for booking the venue and/or house?

Send us a note here, and let us know what date(s) you’re interested in for your event and when you’d like to tour the venue.

We’ll respond within 2 business days and let you know our currently available event dates and confirm a tour date and time. 

To book your event date, we request a 50% deposit.

"Looking back, we still feel how lucky we were to discover the Boulder Flower Farm and have our summer wedding there. The farm is a hidden gem in the farmland north of Boulder. It was the perfect setting for our special day, provided a beautiful selection of flowers for decorating, and last but not least, has some of the warmest and sweetest people we have met – the owners Chet and Kristy. The farm layout created a convenient flow from the bridal suit in the owners’ house to the green backyard next to the old schoolhouse building, which acted as the ceremony and cocktail reception site, and then to the big lawn between the amazing lavender field and the tree-lined creek where the tent was setup for dinner. Our guests were very excited to check out the flower fields and the green house nearby. We got many compliments on the flower arrangements that we sourced directly from the farm.
